		<description>Thank you so much for covering this, I hope that many of Anaheim&#039;s citizens come out for the meeting on Wednesday, and get the information for themselves. It is especially important to fill out comment cards, as this is the ONLY meeting scheduled for Anaheim where we might register our approval or dismay. 

The other side of the issue is that the HSR looked at the Amtrack line because they wanted shared track. When that fell through, HSRA should have looked not only at the Alternatives for how to built the line there, but also what other routes might work even better. In Europe and Japan the bullet trains run through open country, diving into cities as quickly as possible. They do NOT run through neighborhoods as a rule. 

None of it makes sense, and the fact that our own Mayor is Chair of HSR and we still had to wait a year (and threaten him with press) to get this information to people is frustrating at best.
